Full Control Upgrades

Take your machine with manual or outdated controls and bring it up to speed with state of the art controls.  Possible features include but are not limited to:

• Process storage – No more having operators guess as pressures and speeds using dials and regulators.  Have an accurate and completely repeatable process every time and store as many as you like!

• On screen calibration – Speeds and pressure can be calibrated right on the touch screen and stored in the PLC.  There is no need to mess around with parameters in your drive or change dip switches and pots to get the precision you need.

• Infinite ramping – Change pressures and speeds as slowly as you like.  With thousands of dollars of product in the machine you’d have to have to rush something as important as a pressure or speed change.  Our software lets you ramp as slowly as needed.

• Closed loop pressure control – We can add load cell feedback so the pressure on your parts is constantly measured and adjusted.

• Flow control – Not only can different slurries and fluids be turned off and on automatically within the process but we can also control the flow of them independently if your process requires a high level of precision.

• Temperature control – We can add temperature measurement to the process and tie it to different machine functions such as pressure, speeds or coolant.

• Thickness Control – Thickness control is integrated into the operator interface.  This allows the user to set different set points for every segment of the process and slowly step down to a final thickness.  We can also add in-process automated zeroing for extra precision in your final thickness.

• Part tracking – We can add fields for the entry of part numbers, batches and operators for the tracking of product.

• Network connectivity – The operator interface can be connected to your network for remote storage and editing of processes as well as viewing of the machine’s status or even a full remote view of the screen.

• Data logging – With the addition of a network connected data logger, machine information can be stored and time stamped on a memory card and accessed from anywhere on the network via a web browser.  Keep track of all process parameters, temperatures, operators, parts, etc.  Faults and alarms are also stored and can be emailed or texted to the maintenance department.
